Paradise by the Dashboard Light was a smash hit from the rock star Meatloaf. On the album he sang the song with Ellen Foley, but the famous video clip was play backed with the singer Karla DeVito. In this song, composed in three sections, a man reminisces on a sex date he had in his teens with a girl. The setting, in classic American style, is inside a parked car.
